(There is space for this in the bottom left hand corner.) Out of fairness to me and to reflect the time I spent designing these, please be sure to purchase a school license if you intend to use these as a whole school initiative. Literacy vocabulary any subject any age

Use this board game to consolidate literacy in any subject: vocabulary, spellings, letters, this is not just for Primary English classes. Most can be adapted to any subject, at any age or stage. This game was put together for my students to encourage them to widen their vocabulary. They do so by thinking that little bit harder about their answers and the game also draws on their memory as they play repeatedly and learn from other players’ answers too. As a teacher you may like to adapt the suggested rules to your own teaching content. Therefore the document with suggestions is included as a .pdf file as well as editable Word document. The game board is available in 4 different formats: letter and tabloid, A4 and A3. I very much hope your students enjoy this game too. Please kindly respect that it took a while to construct the enclosed resource. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Thank you. :) If you like these, please leave me a review and click on the green star by my store name so you can follow me and see what else is new in my store at any time. ©MosaiK

Report Behaviour Attitude to Learning log

(0)
This is a useful A2L log which will encourage learners to improve their behaviour for learning and attitude to learning based on encouraging and feasible strategies set by their teachers. If thoroughly followed up, this should provide learners with a positive outlook on progress. It is well known that attitude to learning, behaviour and attendance are strongly linked to progress. I so hope this card enables you to support several students in their progressive journey towards success. If you like this resource, please do leave me a positive review. Thank you. Please be fair and respect that it took a while to put this together. Therefore please ensure you do not pass this on to your colleagues anywhere, unless you have also purchased the school license. Pancake Day Task Pack

Food Technology, ESL, Tutor Time, Form Time: Ideal for class work, cover, revision, homework, the colourfully illustrated 5-page work book and its matching Presentation takes learners through the making of pancakes and pancake traditions in other countries. Some tasks make learners reflect on different fillings and presentation of pancakes. Learners have to comment on pictures, research some facts, match foreign traditions to pictures, answer questions and finally solve a crossword by solving the clues given (about information from the book). Cue cards feature the images from the book and could be used for prior discussion, sequencing, differentiation, imported into a PowerPoint presentation, help with ESL learners. Another use of the cue cards would of course be to let learners play pairs, snap and multiple other games with the cut out cards. If you like this resource, please leave me a review and check out my other resources. Look out for my bundles which will save you time and money for even more learning opportunities. France and the French Quiz

(0)
A differentiated quiz with 45 fact-packed questions for 50 points. This activity is based on the topics of arts, history and politics, geography, food and drink, travel and tourism in France. Three levels of differentiation with answer sheets! It is advised that learners should use an electronic device, e.g. computer, notebook or at least a mobile phone in order to research their answers. The two answer sheets differ only in that one is in English and the other in French. All questions are the same at all levels on all 3 question sheets, though one English version has the number of points to be gained written into each section and into answer boxes if more than 1 point to help learners. The medium version is all in English with no hints for amount of points. The harder version is all in French, no hints of points and comes with its own French answer sheet. Please kindly respect the time it took to put this quiz together and do not share this resource with colleagues anywhere unless you or they have purchased the school licence. If you and your students enjoy this quiz then please leave me a review and check back soon to see what else is new in my store. Thank you, ©MosaiK

European Day of Languages EDL Bunting Hello

European Day of Languages EDL Bunting Hello

(0)
15 pages of ‘hello’ in 45 different languages from around the world, including English :), all in Publisher and as a pdf file. The Publisher file enables you to add languages (using the current format), e.g. to include any other languages spoken by students or staff at your school. Each page features 3 bunting triangles to print and cut out. There is no particular order in which to arrange the bunting. I would suggest that like me you punch each triangle at the top with a 2-hole punch, pull a string/ribbon through the holes front to back and to the front again. A piece of sticky tape at the back will stop each triangle from moving along the string/ribbon. Print on card or on paper and laminate. A double printout will enable you to hang 2 triangles back to back, thus also hiding the string. Please kindly respect the time it took me to construct the enclosed sheets. Fairness deal: I will keep my price low. In return please be fair to me and do not pass this resource to colleagues unless you or your school have purchased the school licence for this resource too. Christmas Assembly Quiz Germany Austria etc

This English presentation will enable you to take learners through Advent and Christmas in Austria and other German-speaking countries step by step, day by day. Perfect for a pre-Christmas school assembly, the 17 slides (in English) are fully illustrated and include several moments for reflection; a great insight into other cultures. The resource also includes all necessary notes / script for each slide, so this could be delivered by staff or by students alike, e.g. an assembly led by a tutor group. A quiz and answer sheet are provided as a follow-up activity either in assembly or in class, e.g. tutor time or during a German lesson. The slides are included both as PowerPoint Presentation and as .pdf file. All other files are in .pdf format - 2 versions each, i.e. A4 size and letter size. The distinction is made in the file names. If you like this resource, please leave me a review and check out my other Christmas resources here. Look out for my bundles which will save you time and money for even more learning opportunities. New students web guide to your school

(0)
Easy for you to adapt to your own establishment, this web guide contains a multitude of areas which no doubt apply to most schools. On 15 pages of information about school life, the guide will explain the ins-and outs of your school to both parents and new students. Each topic listed at the start is hyperlinked to its own section in the document. A topic mentioned in another section is also hyperlinked to its own section for more information. At the end of each section there is a link to go back to the top. School names are referred to as — School, so this can be replaced using the ‘replace’ function in Word. This document is intended for upload to your school website once it has been adapted to your school. For obvious reasons, I am including the Word version of this document. However, please be sure to purchase the school licence if you intend to actually publish this on your school website or share this with colleagues anywhere. If you like this, then please leave me a positive review and check out my other resources too. Thank you, ©MosaiK
Primary to Secondary liaison pupil transition activity

Primary to Secondary liaison pupil transition activity

(0)
This activity works well for Primary pupils to introduce themselves to their teachers at secondary school. The pupils write their best answers to each of the questions in this writing frame. The class teacher or teaching assistant would discuss this with the pupils and encourage them to use their best handwriting and give as much detail as they can fit into the boxes. The sheets are then passed to the transition coordinator at the relevant secondary school. This worked very well at my school when we had a multitude of feeder schools as it enabled us to get the same information from all. Colour-coding the sheets, i.e. photocopying them onto different coloured paper according to the feeder schools prior to taking them to the Primary Schools will make it easier to see later how many pupils from the various feeder schools have been grouped into each tutor group.

Primary to Secondary Liaison Information

This information sheet works well for Primary teachers to pass on information to their pupils’ teachers at Secondary School. While the sheets contain some of the information which will also be passed on in the pupils’ files, this presents a nice summary of what heads of year, form tutors and teachers need to know about their new pupils. This worked very well at my school when we had a multitude of feeder schools as it enabled us to standardise the information we received from all. Colour-coding the sheets, i.e. photocopying them onto different coloured paper according to the feeder schools prior to taking them to the Primary Schools will make it easier to see later how many pupils from the various feeder schools have been grouped into each tutor group. The box at the end can contain some additional information the Primary teacher would like the Secondary School to know about. I used this box to make notes on the pupils when I visited all my feeder schools in the summer term and discussed my future tutees with their teachers at the Primaries.
